For players who don’t know, the Nestbound Bird is one of the many bosses in NTE, just like Black Tome, Swallowtail, and Headless Rider, who give players a free S-Rank Arc and unlock the boss for farming upgrade materials.
The boss is also associated with one of the Anomaly Commissions called Call of the Lost.
Plus, the free S-Rank Arc that it gives is a good free option for Gas-Type characters, such as Skia. With that said, here’s the complete guide on the Nestbound Bird boss.
Tears Beneath the Mask S-Rank Gas-Type Arc
In NTE, you can get the Tears Beneath the Mask S-Rank Gas-Type Arc by defeating the Nestbound Bird boss for the first time.
Once you do that, the boss’s broken mask will be available to contain. Do it, and you will unlock the Arc.

The Tears Beneath the Mask Arc comes with the ATK% secondary stat with the special Arc Effect called Nestbound Bird, which applies the Warning Gaze mechanic to enemies hit by the wearer’s Ultimate, making them deal 18% reduced damage for a certain time.
Call of the Lost Anomaly commission and Nestbound Bird boss location
To complete the Call of the Lost Anomaly Commission, first of all, make sure you meet the unlock criteria, which is reaching Hunter Level 24.
Assuming you are already past that, select the Anomaly Commission from any Wertheimer Towers or via the other methods and select ‘Track Anomaly.’
A search area will appear near the Oia Avenue. Head there.
Climb up the tall building in the search area and take the stairs to the roof.
On the roof, you will find a Red Tori Gate. Interact with it.
Doing so will trigger the first Nestbound Bird encounter.
Defeat the boss to complete the Call of the Lost Anomaly Commission and unlock the boss for farming.

The boss icon will now appear on the map. You can click on it and teleport there.
