Whether you are looking for the best in-slot Arc for Hotori in Neverness To Everness (NTE) or want to know the best Console, skill, and team rotations, team comps, or simply how to play Hotori, my build guide has got you covered.

Hotori is an S-Rank Esper, with her Arc-Type being Solid and Element being Cosmos.

She is a burst DPS unit who you can also use as a support in Remora, Blossom, and Charge reaction-based teams.

What makes her a broken unit is her Redirect Skill called Present Replay, which not only deals Cosmos DMG, but also the fact that it can record Support Skills and Redirect Skills used by allies and execute them when you use Hotori’s ultimate, World’s Tide.

She is a great unit that many players will be pulling for. And so, based on my time with her, here’s the best DPS build guide for Hotori.

How to play Hotori

NTE Hotori 6

The best way to play Hotori in NTE is as a DPS unit, with a major focus on utilizing her Redirect Skill and Ultimate along with the Blossom elemental reaction to further improve the overall DPS, via the Vita Buds and Vita Pistils.

That’s the basic. But how to actually play her?

Well! First of all, make sure Hotori is on a team with an Anima Element user, such as Jiuyuan. You need Anima to trigger the Blossom reaction.

After that, you focus on the rotation to make full use of Hotori’s kit. You start with her and use her Redirect Skill, Present Replay.

You consume 60 Non-Closed Timepiece energy, a resource exclusive to Hotori, while dealing 7 instances of Cosmos DMG in an AoE. After that, for a five-second window, you will be able to record other Espers’ Support and Redirect Skills.

So quickly switch to other units, especially to Jiuyuan or any other Anima user, use their Support or Redirect Skills, and then switch back to Hotori.

Now, use Hotori’s Ultimate’ World’s Tide to use the recorded skills of other Espers, 10 instances of Cosmos DMG in an AoE, while stopping the time and the foes for a certain time.

After that, use Hotori’s Normal Attacks to deal as much damage as you can.

Also, keep in mind that Hotori’s passive Ghost Orchid Crest prevents Vita Bud attacks from pausing during Time Stop, which, in simple terms, means you will still be triggering the Blossom reaction.

Hotori’s skill rotations

To sum things up, here’s how Hotori’s skill rotation will work with any team:

Use Hotori’s Redirect Skill ➜ Quickly switch to an Anima user and use their Redirect or Support Skill, followed by other Espers Redirect or Support Skills ➜ Switch back to Hotori and use her Ultimate ➜ Use Hotori’s Normal Attacks during Time Stop ➜ Repeat

Best Arc for Hotori

The best in-slot Arc for Hotori is none other than Marching Beyond Time, her featured S-Rank Arc, which comes with the CRIT Rate% sub-stat with the unique ability called Time Beyond Time, which is catered towards Hotori’s kit.

Here’s a detailed look at it:

Time Beyond Time skill

Increases ATK by 16%.

Enters Wastelab and clears current Wastetime when the wearer casts a Redirect Skill.

While in Wastelab, allies gain 1 stack of Wastetime each time they use a Redirect or Support Skill, up to 3 stacks.

When the wearer uses their Ultimate in Wastelab, they exit Wastelab and consume all Wastetime, increasing Ultimate Crit DMG by 24%, plus an additional 8% per Wastetime consumed.

Consuming 3 Wastetime stacks at once grants an extra 12% DEF Ignore for 3s.

As you can see, the Wastelab mechanic works in synergy with Hotori’s skill rotation and skills in general. Plus, not only does it directly increase CRIT Rate, but it also boosts the Ultimate CRIT DMG by a huge amount.

Other Arc options for Hotori

Here are some other Arcs that you can use on Hotori. However, they are less effective than Marching Beyond Time.

  1. Fluff of Fearlessness
  2. Day Off
  3. Heathereu’s Keeper

Among the above three Arc alternatives, I recommend going for Fluff of Fearlessness that you can obtain via the Battle Pass – Circle Bounty.

Why is it the second-best Arc for Hotori? Simple. Because it increases CRIT Rate% and ATK% stats.

Day Off is ok. But avoid it until and unless you don’t have any other options. The same goes for Heathereu’s Keeper.

Best Console – Cartidge and Module for Hotori

When it comes to the best Console for Hotori, Lost Radiance is the choice as it increases the Cosmos DMG by +10%, while also making enemies’ DEF against it fall by 25%.

Hotori stat priority

Since we are talking about Hotori’s DPS build, these are the stats that you must focus on while choosing her Modules and Cartridge.

The best team comp for Hotori is:
