Update: The collab goes live on Oct 21.
On Monday, October 19, Fortnite’s reliable leaker and data miner, Shiina, posted on X (formerly Twitter) about the previously teased ‘Fortnite x Obsession collab’ that Epic Games will officially confirm by Tuesday, October 20.
Obsession is one of this year’s biggest horror hits, featuring Inde Naverette as Nikki and Michael Johnston as Bear, two of the movie’s main leads.
Even though the movie had a very low budget, it had strong direction, with Inde Naverette’s performance carrying the film.
The Obsession collab isn’t a surprise, since we already got the One Wish Willow teased in this year’s Fortnitemares trailer.
Since it’s Halloween month, the Obsession collab, which will add an Inde Naverette skin, a themed Back Bling, Pickaxe, and Emote to the Store, is a much-welcomed addition to the game. And, in fact, it is going to be one of the quickest collabs Epic Games has ever pulled off.
While Epic Games has yet to officially announce the collab, along with the release date and other details, I expect it to drop this month, priced at ~2,400 V-Bucks.
I’ll update this page once we get more details on the collab. Until then, for the latest gaming news, stick to The Profaned Geek.
