Introducing: Sekiguchi is a CyAc priority contract in Marathon that unlocks the Sekiguchi faction.
And unlike the other faction introduction quests, like Introducing: NuCaloric, Introducing: Traxus, Introducing: Mida and others, Introducing: Sekiguchi’s objectives takes you to the Outpost map, which has a high threat level.
And without any proper knowledge of where to look for the Necrotic Sample or the scanner using which you can scan your Runner Shell, completing the quest becomes a real challenge.
But if you follow my walkthrough, you will be done with it in no time.
Introducing Sekiguchi contract overview
You get the Introducing: Sekiguchi contract from CyAc after finishing the Welcome to Tau Ceti Part 1 and Part 2 contracts and two to three of the other faction introduction contracts.
In this contract, you are tasked with:
- Inject the Necrotic Sample in the southern Flight Control (0/1)
- Scan your shell in the Southeastern Orientation (0/1)

Select your loadout and start a run in the Outpost map.
To complete the quest, you must first head to Flight Control POI and then to Orientation.
Inject the Necrotic Sample in the southern Flight Control
You can find the Necrotic Sample at the above marked location.
First of all, make your way to the Flight Control POI.
Head inside the building and make your way towards the southern part of the facility.
The Necrotic Sample is in the box that I have marked in the above screenshot.
Head inside the room, search the box and collect the sample.

Scan your shell in the Southeastern Orientation
Next, from Flight Control, head to the Orientation POI. You will find the scanner at the above marked location.
It is on the first floor. Follow the above marked path.
Head straight and turn right.
You will find the scanner near the glass wall.
Interact with it to scan your shell. That’s it. Doing so will complete the quest.
