Whether you are looking for the geological survey data’s location at Station POI or the botany report’s location in Overflow POI in Marathon, my Survival Directive contract walkthrough has got you covered.
The Survival Directive is a NuCaloric faction contract in Marathon, which tasks you with downloading their geological survey data and botany report from two POIs on the Perimeter map.
Just like their other contracts, like the Data Reconstruction 1, 2 and 3 and others, completing the objective can be daunting if you don’t know where to look for it.
And this is where Marathon guide comes in handy.
Survival Directive contract overview
In Marathon, you unlock the Survival Directive contract after completing the Introducing: NuCaloric contract given by the CyAc faction.
The contract has two tasks:
- Download geological survey in the southeast building in Station (0/1)
- Download botany report from second-floor terminal in Overflow (0/1)

Survival Directive contract full walkthrough
First of all, start a run on the Perimeter map. And, depending on your spawn location, either make your way to Overflow or Station POIs.
Download geological survey in the southeast building in Station
You can find the geological survey terminal at the above marked location in the Station POI.
Head there and look for the black building near the usual Exfil site. I have marked it in the above screenshot to make things easier for you.
Use the ladder on the side to get to the second floor.
In front of you, you will find a door leading to the room with the terminal holding the geological survey.
Interact with the terminal to download the survey report.

Download botany report from second-floor terminal in Overflow
The botany report is found at the above marked location in Overflow in a room close to the stairs on the second floor.
The quick and easy access to the terminal from where you can download the botany report is via the window that I have marked in the above screenshot.
The other option is to use the stairs.
Once you are inside the room, interact with the terminal to download the botany report.
That is it. You don’t have to exfil to keep your progress.
