Swallowtail is one of the many hidden bosses in NTE that you can find in the open world.
Defeating these bosses for the first time drops an S-Rank Arc that you can use on characters with the same synergy, while farming them is mandatory for obtaining character upgrade and ascension materials.
But since Swallowtail don’t appear on the map until and unless you find and beat them for the first time, many players struggle to find them.
And so, I prepared this guide.
How to get Reality Refuge S-Rank Arc
In NTE, you can get the Reality Refuge S-Rank Anima-based Arc by defeating the Swallowtail boss for the first time.
Once you defeat the boss, head to the white floating talisman-like things, and you will get the option to ‘Contain’ it.
After you contain it, you will get the pop-up saying, Contained – Reality Refuge.’
Now you can head to the ‘Characters’ menu and select any Anima-based characters. For example: Jiuyuan.
Navigate to the Arc tab. And there, you will find Reality Refuge ready to use.
Now, for players who don’t know, the Reality Refuge is one of the best, if not the best, Arc for Anima characters, as it directly increases the Anima DMG by 15% along with other DMG buffs.
Swallowtail boss drops
After you defeat Swallowtail for the first time, the boss icon will appear on the map, and you can directly teleport to it to farm upgrade materials.
To collect the Swallowtail boss drops, after you defeat him, interact with the Coal Lump’s Gift.
Use 60 Character Pixels, which are nothing but NTE’s stamina system, to claim the drops, which include:
- Hunter Level EXP
- Colorful Ticket Stub
- Beetle Coin
- Magic Thread
- Arcane Thread
Where to find the Swallowtail boss
In NTE, you can find the Swallowtail boss in the Floe Cinema at the above-marked location near Kino Avenue.
Once you arrive at Floe Cinema, enter the building via the main gate.
Take the stairs on the left side.
Follow the path past the cardboard cutout anime character.
Head inside the room on the left side at the end of the path.
Interact with the camera to enter the boss arena.
Defeat the boss.
