On Thursday, February 5, NetEase Games revealed a brand new character trailer for their upcoming open-world ocean adventure RPG developed by Joker Studio, Sea of Remnants, while also kicking off the game’s Wanderer Alpha Test on PC via Steam.
In Sea of Remnants, you play as a puppetfolk sailor seeking lost memories in a massive open world with a treacherous sea, filled with bizarre monsters all around.
The game features a turn-based combat system, fleet building, more than 400+ companions to bond with and much more, along with an ever-evolving pirate city of Orbtopia that changes based on your impactful choices throughout your journey.
The new character trailer revealed today gives players a peek at the perils of pirate life and the lengths an adventurer must go to, to safely secure their treasure.
With the main highlight being one of the game’s main characters, the eccentric “R.S”.
“Adventurer” R.S is a ‘Damage Over Time’ character. She can deploy the “Surprise Pony” bomb to strike the enemy team comprehensively.
As the main story progresses, players will set sail on an adventure with her to search for mythical treasures.
Apart from the new character trailer, Sea of Remnants’ Wanderer Alpha Test is also live and will end on February 12th.
Sea of Remnants releases on PC, PlayStation and Xbox platforms later this year as a free-to-play title.
