Don’t know which graphics settings to use in Windrose for better FPS and fidelity? I’ve got you covered with this guide.
Windrose is a fairly well-optimized game, even in early access, that you can run on half-a-decade-old PCs with the right graphics settings.
And while the game does present you with a good selection of graphic options, some of them are just burned into your hardware without providing much visual fidelity in return.
In the wake of that, and given that many players are interested in improving their FPS by optimizing their settings, I prepared this Windrose graphics settings guide.
Best graphics settings for Windrose

The “best graphics settings” for Windrose, for me, are the ones that give me more FPS without sacrificing much graphical fidelity. And, keeping that in mind, I have shared the following recommendation:
Display Options

- Window Mode: Windowed Fullscreen (You can choose any.)
- Resolution: Select as per your monitor.
- Frame Rate Limit: No Frame Rate Limit.
Graphics

- Resolution Upscaling: 100% (If you are on a super low-end PC, turn it to 70 to 75%)
- Global Illumination: High or Epic
- Shadows: Low or Medium
- Anti-Aliasing: High
- View Distance: High or Epic
- Textures: High or Epic
- Effects: Medium
- Reflections: Epic
- Post Processing: Epic
- Grass View Distance: High (This is one of the most important settings. While turning it down greatly increases FPS, even setting it to Medium will make it difficult to play the game. So keep it at High or Epic.)
- Shader Quality: Epic
Note: If the above settings are still too much for your PC, you can set Post Processing and Reflections to High.
Advanced graphics

- Vertical Sync: Off
- Motion Blur: Off
- Blood Wounds Effect: On
- Character Dirt Effect: On
- Lens Dirt Effect: On
That sums up the graphics settings guide for Windrose. Which settings combination are you using? Let me know in the comments.
