On Wednesday, December 31, reliable leaker and insider, Bilibili-kun from Dealabs, revealed one of the January 2026 PlayStation Essentials free titles, and it is NFS Unbound.
Unbound is the latest instalment in the NFS franchise that will be available for free for PS Plus users starting January 6, 2026, at 10:00 AM French Time.
Starting in 2026, Sony will stop giving away free PS4 titles and offer them only on an occasional basis, as confirmed by them back in January of this year.
And while some players are excited for NFS Unbound, many are not happy about it. Especially considering the game was already available in the catalogue for some time now.
Sony will be revealing the complete list of PS Plus games for January 2026 later today.
