Data Reconstruction is a three-part contract given by the NuCaloric faction in Marathon that you can complete to get better rewards, level up the faction and unlock new upgrades.
Each of the three different contracts that you get as a part of it is difficult to complete, as many players don’t know where to look for the objectives.
And that is why this walkthrough will come in handy.
Marathon Data Reconstruction Part 1 contract overview
You unlock the Data Reconstruction after completing the Introducing: NuCaloric contract given by the CyAc faction and the Survival Directive contract from the NuCaloric faction.
In this contract, you are tasked with:
- Scan Sparkleaf Bioprinters in South Relay (0/2)
- Scan Fungal Bioprinters in Overflow (0/2)
- Download agriculture report in North Relay (0/1)

Data Reconstruction Part 1 full walkthrough
First of all, start a run on the Perimeter map and make your way to the South Relay.
Scan Sparkleaf Bioprinters in South Relay
You will find the first Sparkleaft Bioprinters inside the small building as marked in the above screenshot.
Head inside and look on the left side.
Scan the Sparkleaf Bioprinters to progress the objective.
The next Sparkleaf Bioprinters are found within the big 008 02B building. Head to the exact spot where my character is standing in the above screenshot.
Go through the door and keep moving straight.
Go to the last room and look on the left side.
You will find the Sparkleaf Bioprinter on the shelf. Scan it to complete the objective.
Now, make your way to the Overflow POI.

Scan Fungal Bioprinters in Overflow
The first Fungal Bioprinter is found on the first floor. In the room that I have marked in the above screenshot.
Head to the marked location and reach the first floor.
In the room, on the right side, you will spot the Fungal Bioprinter.
Scan it to progress the objective.
The next Fungal Bioprinter is found, once again, on the first floor, but on the other side of the building.
Head to the room pointed in the above screenshot.
Exit through the small stairs, and you will find the Fungal Bioprinter on top of the shelf.
The above two screenshots serve as a good reference.
Download agriculture report in North Relay
Finally, to download the agriculture report, you must first power up the console. To do that, head inside the building that you see in the above screenshot.
Once inside, turn left and then go through the first door on the right side.
Now, head straight towards the room that you see in the above screenshot.
You will find the power panel on the wall, as you can see in the screenshot.
Reactivate the power.
Now, take the stairs to reach the first floor of the same building.
There you will find the Console from which you can download the agriculture report.
Download it to complete the contract.
You don’t have to exfil to keep your progress. Once you are back in the lobby, claim the rewards.
