The Year 8 Season 1 ‘Rise Up’ is finally live, and with that, we have a new series of Scount Manhunts in The Division 2 that players can complete to earn the new BTSU Firmware, a ton of XP, other high-tier gear, and other rewards.
Just like any other Season’s Scout Manhunts, the Scout 1 challenge has three objectives, each offering players hints on what they must do to complete it.
So with that, here’s my complete guide on Scout 1 Y8S1 solutions in The Division 2.
How to access Manhunt in The Division 2
In case you are a new or returning player, you can access the Manhunt menu via the map menu.
Once in the Manhunt menu, you can see the current Manhunt. The hint for Objective 1 is always unlocked, while others unlock as you complete previous objectives.

The Division 2 Y8S1 Scout 1 Manhunt solutions
The Objective 1 in Y8S1 Scout 1 Manhunt has a hint that reads, “We need to secure a beachhead in Federal Triangle.”
Objective 1 solution: You must capture the Navy Plaza Control Point found in the Federal Triangle area.
Head to Navy Plaza, call your allies, and capture the Control Point.
Once you do that, you will complete Objective 1, get the rewards, and unlock the clue for Objective 2.
The Objective 2 clue reads “With Navy Plaza secured, we need to start suppressing hostile activity nearby.”
- Progress – 0/3
Solution: You must clear three activities within the Federal Triangle area.
To progress, clear anything with the Activity tag. It can be the Propaganda Broadcast, Public Execution, etc.
If you are having trouble spawning activities, you can also keep resetting your Control Points and clear the Navy Plaza Control Point three times to complete the objective.
Once you clear three activities within the area, you will complete Objective 2 and unlock the hint to the third and final one.

The Objective 3 clue reads “Secure our hold on Jefferson Trade Center.”
Solution: Clear the Jefferson Trade Center mission at any difficulty.
Head to the mission area. Select the difficulty and modifiers to your liking, or start it as is.
Once you clear the quest, you will complete Objective 3 and get all the rewards for Scout 1.
