On Tuesday, March 31, a Reddit user named CrazyFly7494 noticed a mention of an expected release window for the Polish developer and publisher CI Games’s upcoming game, Lords of the Fallen 2, on the portfolio site of the game’s Lead System Designer, Dan Regan.

In the Lords of the Fallen 2 section, Dan described his role and his team’s work on the game. And, at the end of it, he mentioned, “I look forward to discussing it [LOTF2] more here once the game has released; Lords of the Fallen 2 is expected to release in August 2026.”

At the time of writing, Dan’s bio has been changed to, “I look forward to discussing it more here once the game has released!”

Soon after the Reddit post, the news was picked up by different media outlets, and thankfully, before it could spread, the CEO of CI Games, Marek Tyminski, took it to X (formerly Twitter) to confirm that the release window is not correct and that there’s no release date for the game, yet.

He said, “No confirmed release date for Lords of the Fallen II yet. Don’t believe everything you see. We’ll share one when we’re 100% confident the game is ready.”

Lords of the Fallen 2 is one of our most-awaited soulslike games of 2026. While the release date or window has not yet been confirmed, CI Games has recently started showing more of the game, and I can say it sure looks promising.

Lords of the Fallen 2 is set for a 2026 release on PC, PS5, PS5 Pro, and Xbox Series X|S.
