On Tuesday, March 24, the South Korean developer and publisher Pearl Abyss took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce that their latest IP, and one of this year’s most hyped games, Crimson Desert, has sold more than 3 million copies.
For players who don’t remember, on March 20, Pearl Abyss announced that the game had already surpassed 2 million sales.
While the game received an average critical reception from both critics and users, Pearl Abyss’s quick response to some of the biggest issues raised by everyone has worked in their favour.
With an additional million copies sold in just four days and now “Mostly Positive” reviews on Steam, the game is on a good trajectory.
Crimson Desert is currently available on PC, PS5 and PS5 Pro, Xbox Series X|S, and macOS.
