The Code Clue 8, aka Missing Daughter, is an artifact that holds the code to the safe found within The Cavern safe house.
As I mentioned in my Code Clue 10 guide, the game’s open world is filled with locked safes whose codes are found in nearby artifacts.
The same is true for this one. Still, if you are struggling to find the code, this guide will come in handy.
Code Clue 8 – Missing Daughter and safe location
You can find the Code Clue 8 – Missing Daughter artifact and the safe at the player icon location above in The Garments district.
Head there, descend into the sewers, and follow the main path to reach The Cavern safe house.
The safe is at point 1, and the Code Clue 08 – Missing Daughter is at point 2.
Please find “Code Clue 08” in Database
When you interact with the safe, you will receive a hint that says, “Please find ‘Code Clue 08’ in Database.”
Assuming you already collected the Code Clue 08, open the main menu and head to the ISAC Database option.
From there, head to the ‘Collectibles’ tab and select the ‘Artifacts’ option.
There, click on the ‘Cryptic Clues’ option.
In the list, you will find every artifact you have collected so far. Select the one that you need and read its description for safe code hints.

The Cavern safe code is 8122. You can find it within the Missing Daughter artifact document.
