And that is why, during the introductory quest, Strings of Control, players are tasked to visit and purchase something from the Black Market vendor.
Without completing the step, you cannot progress the quest. Since many players struggle to find the Black Market, I have prepared this guide.
Devil Hunter Black Market NPC location
The Black Market NPC Vendor is located in the Shopping Street area of the town.
To get there, first head outside of the Devil Hunter Headquarters via the main gate.
Once you are out, take a sharp left and head straight.
Go through the overbridge.
On the left side, you will find an alley. Go inside and head straight.
You will find the Black Market NPC on the left side.
Look for a half-open shutter door.

Buying items from Black Market NPC
To buy items, talk to the Black Market NPC. Doing so will list his current inventory. It refreshes when the New Shipment timer ends.
Select any item and purchase it to progress any related quest.
