For players who don’t know, Hytale’s Early Access will not be available on any traditional digital games distribution platform, whether it is Steam, Epic Games, GOG or any such digital storefronts.
Hytale’s Early Access begins on Jan 13th, and to play it, you need a Game Profile. Only then can you download and play the game.
It’s simple and confusing, both at the same time, and that is why I prepared this step-by-step guide for new players.
How to play Hytale Early Access on PC
To play Hytale Early Access on PC, you must head to the game’s official website and click on the ‘Pre-Purchase’ or ‘Purchase’ button, depending on when you are reading this article.
Once you do, select the Edition you want to get. I recommend going with the Standard Edition as all you get from other Editions are some fancy skin and no other benefits.
Plus, the fact that you can upgrade your Edition at any time makes it easier to get a different Edition in case you want those skins.
After that, Log In or Sign Up, in case you don’t have an account.
Once you do that, a pop-up will appear talking about the Early Access version of the game and so on, click on ‘I Understand.’
Next, complete the transaction via your preferred method.
Once you do that, you will be asked to set up your Username. Do it. And you are good to go.
Now, all that is left is, download and log in to your Game Profile via the same method (Email, Gmail, Discord, etc.)
