The American YouTuber and Twitch Streamer, Asmongold, recently added He/Him pronouns to his X (formerly Twitter) bio, as the Democrats, for the first time in the last few decades, got more votes than Republicans, bringing the blue wave in the midterms.
Democrats are the left-wing party that promotes DEI and such initiatives. In fact, on November 3, US Representative Ro Khanna declared, “DEI is back!”
In the wake of all this, and the fact that Asmongold’s home state, Texas, is now under Democrats, adding pronouns to mock the victory is not that unusual, as Asmongold is a full-fledged right-winger who supports Republicans, who were the ones to get rid of DEI and such initiatives.
Gina Hinojosa wrote on X, “Tonight, I make a solemn promise to every single Texan. Whether you voted for me or Governor Abbott, or felt so betrayed by a broken politics that you did not vote at all. Hear what Texas said today, loud and clear: Your government belongs to you. And as your governor, I will never forget it. There will be no special set of rules for the wealthy and powerful. No looking the other way when someone in my own party does wrong. The trust you have placed in me tonight is not a blank check. It is a sacred responsibility. And I intend to earn it every single day.”
Meanwhile, the Democratic Party said, “Against all odds, Democrats have won back the Senate. We have five words for the American people: Relief is on the way.”
