The Frog Keys are a new key item in 99 Nights in the Forest that you can use to unlock a secret door in an underground hidden facility.
You can access this underground facility through a whirlpool.
The facility or lair, whatever you like to call it, is where you find the Frog King, whom you can defeat to get the new Beastmaster Badge.
But since the Frog Invasion event is new, many players don’t know how to get and use these Frog Keys to fight the Frog King.
In the wake of that, I prepared this detailed guide.
How to get Frog Keys in 99 Nights in the Forest
To get the Frog Keys in the game, you must take out the blue frogs that spawn near the ponds with the key icon, as you see in the above screenshot.
The Frogs start spawning from around Day 3.
You will know that they have spawned as you get a message regarding it on your screen.
Once that happens, look for the blue frogs and take them out.
The Frog Key drop depends on RNG.
There are instances when you don’t get any Frog Keys from defeating the blue frogs.
So keep farming these blue frogs until you have at least seven Frog Keys.
You can store these Frog Keys in your Sack.
Where to use Frog Keys in 99 Nights in the Forest
You can use Frog Keys on a locked gate leading to the Frog King’s lair to access it and defeat the Frog King, and collect the loot from the nearby chest.
To reach its location, you must find and jump into a Whirlpool that spawns in the big pond.
Where to find Whirlpool in 99 Nights in the Forest
The Whirlpool spawns randomly on one of the big ponds around the forest.
Rest assured, it is always near your campsite.
So go around your camp and look for the big ponds, like the one that you see in the above screenshot.
The whirlpool is hard to miss. Especially, since there’s a yellow signboard and a giant blue frog near it.
How to get the Beastmaster Badge in 99 Nights in the Forest
You can unlock the Beastmaster Badge by defeating the Frog King.
If you followed the above guide, you should be able to unlock the door leading to the Frog King’s lair where you can fight him.
